This Saturday, February 16th, join Senator Bob Graham and Seminole County Commissioner Lee Constantine from 10-4 at Wekiwa Springs State Park, located approximately 20 minutes north of Orlando, for Speak Up Wekiva.  Environmental groups and individuals from across Florida will rally together to raise awareness about the need to restore the impaired Wekiva River, the troubled springs that feed it, and all of Florida’s treasured waterways.

Speak Up Wekiva features over 30 exhibitors and artists, live bluegrass music by The Ashley Gang, hot food, animals from the Central Florida Zoo and Audubon Center for Birds of Prey, kayak demonstrations by Greg Stamer, guided nature hikes, and presentations by Florida artist Jim Draper and writer and filmmaker Bill Belleville.

Senator Graham, Commissioner Constantine, and other notable speakers will take the stage beginning at 11am so arrive early and plan to stay for a great day of environmental education and activism.
